Tiphaine Tourtois (ESAIP 2017), and Christophe Rouvrais (CEO of ESAIP) met and exchanged with Nicolas Hulot, the Minister of Ecological and Solidarity based Transition.
ESAIP was invited to meet Nicolas Hulot (Biography) during his visit to Angers on June 7, 2017. The school which trains Engineers in Risk Prevention, Environment from a position based on Responsiblility for the Future interested the Minister of Ecological and Solidarity based Transition.
Christophe Rouvrais was able to present our programmes, their specificities on a national scale and our actions: The Circular Economy Major, Circular Economy Day, the international eco-design challenge DESIGN4GREEN …
Then, Tiphaine Tourtois, a student in the last year of the engineering programme in Risk Prevention, Environment, exchanged with Nicolas Hulot on a process she has put in place with other Esaipiens, in partnership with the CCI Pays de la Loire And the Maine-et-Loire CCI: The TRIAcademy. The objective is to create synergies and mutualisation between the companies of Angers in order to set up a model of the Circular Economy. e.g., some waste becomes the other’s raw materials. An action that will be generalized with also the pulication of a white paper so that industrial zones are inspired everywhere in France.
Nicolas Hulot, who was very attentive to our student, was keen to encourage and support the TRIAcademy, to reiterate his convictions and the importance of the Circular Economy for years to come.
A strong message that ESAIP is an actor in the territory and wants to advance environmental issues.
