The CTF ESAIP Hack Challenge 2019, a cybersecurity hackathon, took place on March 16, 2019 at ESAIP Angers. This edition had more than 110 participants, a record for this event which has a bright future ahead of it.
27 teams of students and professionals from all over France competed the 10-hour competition. The goal? Solve computer security tests by recovering hidden, encrypted data in places more or less difficult to access. The winner is the team that collects the most “flags” (information / data) with prizes such as, places at the international LeHack event, EC-Council certifications and prizes offered by IT-Gnosis.
The CTF ESAIP Hack Challenge 2019 was won by Mini Kube (ENSIBS Vannes) ahead of Aperi Kube (ENSIBS Vannes) and Machack (ESILV Paris).
We wish to congratulate all the participants, the ESAIP students who organized the event and a big thank you to our partners (National Marine, Vector, IT-Gnosis, EC-Council, DGA, L’Equip)!
“THE CTF ESAIP, AN EVENT WE WANT TO GROW”
“This CTF has existed for a few years. First reserved for Esaipiens and Angevins, it has now grown since the previous edition, attracting teams from further and further away. Participation has increased by 50% since 2018, and the challenges amazed and delighted participants and partners, with excellent feedback on the organization and the level of the tasks. The goal is to continue to grow this event to make it a must-attend event for cybersecurity students. »The CTF team
